Mozart requiem: the “classical” perks of being a student in Sweden

No matter how almost wholly alien classical music might seem to you, the perfection that you are able to witness and feel while it is being played, will definitely give you the chills. The performance of Mozart’s Requiem is the first classical choir piece I have attended so far in Stockholm, and it was stunning!

The conductor, the choir, the Church, where the performance was held – every constituent isolated you from the world outside, and managed to bring the art, intricacies of sacred classical music and history into much sharper focus. For those of you who are avid fans of philosophy and musing on the sublime vision of human potential – this is certainly the event to attend!

The video highlights the standing ovation after the performance only, as I was too enthralled by the performance itself to record it 😉
