It is sometimes odd to imagine life after graduation.

But suddenly it’s over. So quickly that at least my brain doesn’t seem to register that it’s actually done. Where did all the years go? I can still vividly remember the first day, arriving to the Karolinska Institute with my bags packed for the introduction camp. Three years seemed like eons of time.

So many new faces. So many gone after the first semester. Years of intense studying. The fantastic exchange semester in the Netherlands. All the papers to be written, and signed and exams and applications. We went to the pub after final presentations and cheered in sparkling wine (we’re students, we can’t afford champagne) and felt odd at the fact that we didn’t have anything to study and that we weren’t going to see each other every day anymore this fall.

These years have been fantastic. And have let me meet people I hope will be around for the rest of my life.
